Arrastre and Stevedoring Services
Arrastre means all work performed (on dock.) It is the process of receiving and loading cargoes from and on to ship’s tackle, providing mechanical equipment for receiving, stowing, transporting, shifting, sorting and piling of cargoes for temporary storage within the port area.
Stevedoring means all work performed (on board vessel.) It is the process of loading and unloading cargoes, stowing hatches, compartments and on deck or open cargo space on board vessel. (The services related to stevedoring are re-rigging ship’s gear.)

NVOCC
Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC) does not own or operate ocean transport vessels. Instead, they make arrangements with ship owners, charterers, or shipping lines for transportation of cargo
Consolidation
Consolidation is the process where a carrier or a shipping company combines several smaller shipments into one full container. Ideally, consolidation favours both the carrier and the shipper. In the case of the carrier, it helps to reduce the cost of shipment and to make delivery of goods quicker. And for the shipper with smaller shipment, he would not need to pay for a full container shipment.
Door to Door Services
A door-to-door (D2D) shipping delivery service is a type of shipping service that delivers items directly to the recipient’s door. This type of shipping is often used for large or heavy items that cannot be quickly shipped through traditional shipping methods. Door-to-door shipping is a convenient way to receive items, as the recipient does not have to go to a shipping location to pick up the items.
Break Bulk Services
Break bulk is the system of transporting goods in pieces separately, rather than being shipped in a container. Goods shipped in crates, bags, boxes, drums, barrels without the use of container are referred to as break bulk cargoes. These type of cargoes are usually large in sizes and dimensions.
